Our professional-grade paddle has unique styling and a great “feel.” It’s a serious key! $179.95.
New! Mini-Module Accessory kits

Our easy-to-build, high-performance mini-module kits are inexpensive and ideal for first-time builders (or budding engineers). They serve many useful functions in the ham shack or at the electronics workbench. Our newest mini-modules are described below; see page 6 for a complete list.
· W1 Wattmeter ($89.95): Complete with zippy bargraphs that show forward power and SWR, this auto-ranging wattmeter will light up the shack for the holidays. The W1 also includes a computer interface that allows software dabblers to create colorful, custom wattmeter “skins” on their PC!
· AF1 Active Filter ($59.95): This classic analog audio filter will enhance the performance of nearly any receiver. And it’s perfect for all those tiny QRP rigs that have little or no filtering of their own.
· AT1 Step Attenuator ($49.95): Builders and experimenters can never have enough switchable attenuators on the bench. Our compact, inexpensive AT1 covers 0-41 dB in 1-dB steps.
· XG2 ($59): This oscillator/calibrator is the accessory for the operator who wants to prove how sensitive their receiver is. The XG2 is a 3-band version of our popular, highly rated XG1.
· BL2 ($34.95) This rugged 200-W balun will be appreciated by anyone who wants to get the most out of their antennas. Includes a 1:1/4:1 impedance switch for enhanced versatility.
ARRL Books: Something for Every Operator
We’ve hand-selected books on nearly every subject of interest to hams from the extensive list of American Radio Relay League classics, including the 2007 ARRL Handbook with Special 1942 Reproduction QST. Full descriptions and prices can be found on our web site.
New! T1 Stand-Alone Automatic Antenna Tuner
|
|
The Elecraft T1 is the only automatic antenna tuner that’s sized to match today’s small, portable transceivers. It’s one-fourth the size of most other compact ATUs. And at just 5 ounces, the T1 is the ideal backpacking accessory.
The T1 can be used with any 0.5-W to 20-W transceiver covering bands in the 160-6 m range. This includes kits, home-built rigs, and commercial transceivers such as the FT-817, IC703, Ten-Tec Argonaut, SG2020, etc.
|
· T1-A ($159): T1 ATU, factory-assembled and tested.
· T1-K ($135): T1 ATU kit.
· T1-FT817 ($59): A must-have for anyone who owns a Yaesu FT-817 transceiver! The T1-FT817 is a “smart” adapter cable that allows convenient remote control of our T1. Once the T1 has matched the antenna on all bands, simply change bands on the FT-817—the T1 instantly recalls the correct settings, with no need to transmit.

KX1 Ultra-Portable Radio and Options
|
|
The KX1 is the ultimate radio for backpackers, day hikers, and anyone who wants to sneak in some operating time while relaxing in their easy chair. It's smaller than a paperback book, and has all of its controls on the top, so it's well suited to use while sitting on the ground, in a beach chair, or even standing up. And at just 9 ounces, it's the one radio that your ham will take everywhere. The KX1 is a Morse-code-only radio, but this is the preferred mode for serious, lightweight expeditions. |
· New! KXB3080 ($65), and KXB30 ($29): The KXB30 adds the "30-meter band" to the basic two bands covered by the KX1 (40 and 20 meters). 50% more fun! Also enhances short-wave listening in the "49-meter" band. The new KX3080 covers both 80 and 30 meters.
· KXAT1 ($89): This automatic antenna tuner will save the radio operator a lot of time by allowing him/her to use a simple wire-in-a-tree antenna. Greatly reduces backpacking station weight.
·
KXPD1 ($69): This convenient gadget is a 1-oz., miniature
keyer paddle that plugs directly into the KX1. It can also be used with the
K1 Compact Home/Portable Radio and Options
|
|
The K1 is another of our Morse-code-only radios. It puts out a bit more power than our KX1, and has traditional front-facing controls. It's easy to build, yet still quite sophisticated, and fun to use at home or on camping or business trips. If your ham is the traveling type, they'll probably love any gadget that makes setting up and operating the radio more convenient. |
· New! K1 LCD Backlight: Dress up that little rig! If you haven’t built your K1 yet, order #K1BKLTKIT-X ($14.95). For already-built K1s, order #K1BKLTKIT-X ($19.95).
· KFL1-4 ($139): This is a 4-band module for the K1. The math is simple: it's twice as much fun as 2 bands! So if he or she has only the original 2-band module, this is a sure bet.
· KAT1 ($109): This internal antenna tuner option is just as cute and cuddly as its name suggests. It allows the K1 to be used with a thin, invisible wire tossed into a tree. No more clunky poles!
· KBT1 ($44): When you're out in the field, batteries are required to power the radio. The KBT1 saves room in the backpack for your novel, fishing gear, or Game Boy.
· KNB1 ($35): Does your ham ever grumble about things like power-line noise, 60 hertz AC interference, or the like? The KNB1 is a noise blanker that can improve reception.
XV-Series Transverters ($369)
Great for the hobbyist with lots of little antennas on the roof (i.e., anyone who dabbles in the “high” bands). These stylish, low-profile, high-performance units work with any transceiver.
KRC2 Band Decoder ($159)
Great for the hobbyist with lots of really big antennas. Works with

· KAF2 ($79): The KAF2 audio filter cleans up some of the hiss and other noise sometimes heard at the output of a receiver, and includes a very narrow filter for Morse-code operators. It's especially beneficial for operators who use headphones. Includes a clock/calendar, like our KDSP2 option.
· KBT2 ($67): Power outage? No worries! If the operator has a KBT2 internal battery installed, they can keep right on operating, typically for 6 or more hours. This is a must-have for anyone who takes their rig camping or needs emergency communications.
· KNB2 ($39): This noise blanker is similar to the one for the K1 (see KNB1, previous page).
