Subject: [Elecraft] K2 in, Omni VI out

After giving the K2 a good hearty workout on cw these last couple of months,
I just couldn't justify having the OMNI VI sitting idle collecting dust. Out
the door she went today. I know the new owner will enjoy the Ten Tec, like I
did, but its' QSK is no match for the one in my K2.

Just another chapter in the K2 story...

Made the exact same move here- The K2 is all the rig I need.

Likewise. The Omni VI has been relegated to the basement
with the Trident IV and HT-33.

Subject: [Elecraft] K2 vs. TenTec

God bless the TenTec people, but those birdies in the Omni V and VI drive me nuts, not a problem in the K2. I had an Omni V that I really liked in all respects except for the spurious stuff on RX. Wish they would come out with another full featured QRP radio minus the birdies. Lots of discerning people have called the K2 "the rig the Argonaut II should have been".
