BUILDER ALERT #10: Possible Wrong Capacitor in SSB Kit

Applicability: SSB kits shipped 3/1/00 to 3/30/00

It has come to our attention that several recent SSB kits may have been sent out with 470 pF capacitors (marked '471j') instead of the correct 47 pF capacitors (marked '47j'). 

These caps are used in the SSB filter section at locations CG, CH, CE and CK. If you do have the 470 pF caps by mistake the SSB filter will work poorly, if at all, with a large amount of attenuation.

Please email support@elecraft.com  or call our service department (831-662-8345) if you received the 470 pF parts by mistake and we will get you the new ones immediately.
